At Discovering Diversity, we believe that communities grow stronger when their experiences, aspirations and challenges are understood. Through research, surveys and community engagement, we aim to generate insights that can help families, young people and organisations make informed decisions and build a more inclusive society.

Current Study
Growing Up Between Cultures 2026
An anonymous survey exploring identity, education, family expectations, aspirations and experiences among Indian-origin young people and families in the Netherlands.
This study seeks to better understand questions such as:

- How do young people navigate multiple cultural identities?

- How do families perceive educational pathways in the Netherlands?

- What aspirations do young people have for their future?

- Are there topics that are difficult to discuss within families?

- How can communities better support the next generation?
Participation is voluntary and anonymous. No names, contact details or personally identifiable information are collected.

Community initiatives are often built on assumptions. We believe they should be built on evidence, experiences and dialogue.
By listening to the voices of young people and families, we hope to:
